Life of Tunes

Do you know that feeling you get when you hear a song that you absolutely love. Well that happens to me every day! I absolutely, unequivocally, tremendously, irrationally, viscerally and passionately L-O-V-E music! I know what you’re thinking. “Dude we all love music, what makes you any different.” But I am different. I just cannot get it out of my head. I want it on from the moment I get up in the morning to the moment I go to bed at night, with very few exceptions. I confess music is my best friend. A little peculiar huh? I know I am rambling but I am struggling to find the words to help you to understand what I am talking about. Music is therapy for me. There is always a song that explains how I am feeling or a song that can make me feel. There is always a song that has been where I have been or has gone where I am going. Let me sum up in case I wasn’t clear. I love music. I need to get it out of my head. I need to put it on paper. Or in this case express myself through a series of 1’s and 0’s – sorry that’s a little bit of tech humor. (If you are confused for just $19.70 you can purchase your very own copy of PC’s for Dummies here.) What follows is a series of musical ramblings. Please let me know you think. Post your ideas or a great song or band recommendation for the rest of us. Enjoy!

My name is Andrew and I was wondering if you would like to review my new CD entitled “What I Say Isn’t What I Mean”. You can check out my myspace to get a taste of the songs and if you like it you can download it here

Have a great day!!!

Andrew Mello

Your passion for music is so inspiring! I have the same type of passion and I’m glad I’m not the only one.

You should check out this new artist Joshua Armstrong. He just made his new 10-track album “Starting Over” available as a free download on his website:

The genre is melodic rock and similar to Pete Yorn and Ryan Adams. The tracks you might want to check out first are “To Your Rescue,” “In Love,” and “Green Eyes.”

I seen him at quite a few gigs here in the Nashville area.
